Ball Bearings
Ball bearings are simple and the most versatile rolling bearings used in a wide variety of applications. Ball bearings are classified into radial and thrust ball bearings based on their primary load carrying direction.
Radial ball bearings are primarily designed to carry load in the radial direction. However, depending on the design, ball bearings can also support significant axial load in addition to radial load. The inner and outer ring feature raceway grooves on the circumference that closely conform to the balls.
Thrust ball bearings are designed to carry load in the axial direction with no radial load capacity. The rings feature raceway grooves on the opposing faces that closely conform to the balls.
AEC manufactures ball bearings in several designs and dimensional series.
